Infosys Certification Details

Prior to its on-campus recruitment for 2020 batch, Infosys is wanting to hire 2020 graduates off-campus. This off-campus drive has no aptitude questions/tests and is purely based on your performance in ‘Infosys Certification’. The procedure is as given below.

• Students will have to take ‘The Infosys Certification’ test and should score 65% or above to become Infosys Certified. 
• Once you are Infosys Certified, then you will be eligible for a direct interview round with Infosys on the same day.
• The Infosys Certification is an assessment to test your industry readiness by gauging your knowledge about Programming and Databases. You can register for the certification test on InfyTQ app only. Those who are already registered on InfyTQ can directly register for the certification test and book a slot. The registration process is given in this article. 

Eligibility for Infosys Certification

• You must be registered on InfyTQ app. If you haven’t, then download the app and register now. Click here to download the app.
• You should be 2020 graduate pursuing B.E., B. Tech, M.E., M. Tech, M.Sc., MCM, or MCA. 
• You don’t require a minimum percentage to apply for The Infosys Certification. Irrespective of your academic score, you are eligible.

Infosys Certification Test Pattern, Syllabus and it’s Cutoff Score

• The infosys Certification assessment will be for 3 hours. It will consist of a combination of objective and hands-on questions. This assessment has no negative marking. 
• The syllabus for Infosys Certification test is as given in the table. Infosys TQ website/app has courses covering this syllabus. If you want to learn them, then you can go through them and then take the test. But note that it is not necessary to go through these modules. You can register for the certification test whenever you want to give it.
• Programming Fundamentals using Python Object Oriented Programming using Python Data Structures and Algorithms using Python Learning DBMS and SQL The courses and the certification test are free.

How to register for Infosys Certification 2019

1) To register for Infosys Certification, you need to firstly download the InfyTQ app or register on this website – https://infytq.infosys.com/

2) Once registered, you land on the below-shown page. Now, click on ‘Certifications’.

3) In the new page, scroll down slightly and you will find an option “Register“.

4) In the registration page, please fill in the required details. Remember that once you fill in the details, you will not be able to edit them. So please fill them carefully.

5) Once your registration is done, you will be redirected to a new page where you can book your slot for the assessment. You need to select a city and available date to give your Infosys Certification test.

Note: The first phase of the Infosys Certification examination is scheduled from June 7- June 21, 2019. Seats for this slot are full and no longer available. The calendar for the second phase will be published on May 27, 2019. So you need to wait untill then to book your slot.

6) The assessment will start at 9AM and will go on till 12PM any given day. Also, you will receive a Hall ticket 7 days before your exam. This needs to be carried to the exam hall.

How to prepare for Infosys Certification

Infosys itself has provided courses which will help you with the certification test. These courses will help you cover the syllabus of Infosys Certification Test.

You will find these courses on the home page of Infosys TQ website under the section called “Foundational Courses” as shown below.

Note: If you are confident enough, then you can directly register for the test. Taking up these courses is optional. 

Also, please don’t take up courses on other websites to prepare for Infosys Certification. Infosys has cleared mentioned that it is not in partnership with any websites.

How is Infosys Certification Useful for others (except 2020)?

Infosys Certification is still beneficial to others (working professionals, unemployed candidates etc) as it projects your technical skills. Even if you score 65% or above in this test, you will not be eligible for an interview with Infosys, but surely this will project your technical knowledge in other interviews. So it is advantageous to take up this test as it is also free of cost.

Infosys Certification FAQs

1) Can I complete the test without visiting the test center?

No, you will have to be present at the test venue to take up the certification test.

2) How much prior to the certification must I assemble?

You will have to assemble at the test centre one hour prior to the commencement of the examination.

3) What documents do I need to carry with me for the test?

You will recieve an email post registration with the details of documents you need to carry

4) When will I receive results for the certification?

You will recieve assessment results on your screen after you complete the test and you will recieve a soft copy of the certificate on your registered email ID.

5) Will I receive a hall ticket post registration?

Yes, you will recieve it on your registered email ID 7 days prior to the date of certification test.

6) Can I change my test center /test date once I have booked it?

Yes, you can modify your center and dates details post registration.

7) If I don’t score 65% can I re-appear for the certification?

Yes! You can reappear for the assessment one month after your first attempt and 3 months post your second attempt.

8) Can I re -apply for Infosys if I do not clear the post assessment interview?

Yes, you can participate in our on-campus drives (when we visit your campus) even if you do not clear the post assessment interview.

9) When will I have to join Infosys if I get selected?

The date of joining will depend on the business requirement after you have completed your degree.
