Mu Sigma Eligibility Criteria 2019


If you are an aspirant for the role of Trainee Decision Scientist in Mu Sigma, go through the Mu Sigma Eligibility Criteria first before applying for the Mu Sigma Placement Process.

  1. Branches that can apply for the muAPTare B.E/B.Tech
  2. A candidate must have a minimum of 60% marks in graduation. In case your college follows the CGPA system, either multiply it by 10 or calculate percentage using the university’s guidelines.
  3. Maximum of 2 backlogs are allowed for a student to appear for muAPT and if selected, he/she needs to clear all the backlogs before the joining date.
  4. A candidate must have more than 60% marks in 10th and 12th (or diploma)
  5. The graduation should hold a Full-Time course recognized by Central/State Government of India (No part-time/correspondence).


Mu Sigma Placement Process – Stages

Round 1:


Section 1: General Knowledge


This round will consist of questions based on general knowledge. The general knowledge topics that could be asked are

  • Art and Literature
  • Entertainment
  • General and Current Affairs
  • Sports
  • Technology and Science

 

 

Section 2: MuApt Online Test

 

This MuApt Test conducted for Mu Sigma Placement Process is the first round of the selection procedure. This test is fairly important because it is an elimination round.



 

The test is held Online.

Number of Questions: 28

Sections of the Test:

The MuApt test is further divided into 6 domains. They are

  • Aptus: This domain consists of questions based on Quantitative Aptitude.
  • Latus:  Logical Aptitude questions are included in this domain
  • Tekhne: This domain consists of Technical Aptitude questions.
  • Personalis: This domain consists of a personality-based assessment.
  • Communicationis: In this domain, you will have a written communication skill test.
  • Industria: Industria is a domain that is used to assess your industry-based knowledge.

Marking Scheme:+1 for correct answers

Negative Marking: No Negative Marking

Round 2: Group Activity


Round Duration: 20- 30 minutes

Candidates who have cleared the muAPT test will then be called for further processes to Musigma’s Bangalore office. Here the group activity round will be conducted for the candidates.


Candidates will be divided into groups (4-5) randomly and shall be put through a group activity. This will involve a problem case/Case Study being presented to you, and the group has to work as a team and provide solutions to the panelist at the end of the round.


This is an elimination round and each candidate will be judged individually. Here is a sample topic for your understanding:

Some X mobile industry is about to launch a smartphone. So try to propose a phone model that grabs a lot of attention & has features that benefit a wide variety of audience.n


Round 3: Personal Interview


Duration: 20-30 minutes

This is the final round and will involve a One-on-One interview with one of Musigma’s panel members. Candidates selected in this round shall be offered the post of Trainee

Decision Scientist (TDS) and shall be joiningMuSigma.


This round focuses on testing the candidates communication, understanding & problem-solving skills. You can expect general HR questions, puzzles etc in this round.

Documents Required (Original and Photocopies) for Mu Sigma Placement Process


  1. Original ID proof: You need to carry one Original Government ID Proof (Pan Card, Driving License or Passport, Aadhar Card).
  2. Resume: Carry one copy of your resume with you.
  3. Dress Code: Dress code at the MuSigma office is Office Formals (Shirt, Trousers, Leather Shoes with Socks. Tie and blazer not required).


Recruitment Policies -Mu Sigma Placement Process


  1. According to the rules of the company, the applicants must not have more than 2 backlogs/reattempts in your UG exams and also they must not have dropped any semester/year throughout the course.
  2. There must be a gap of at least 6 months within the two attempts at the exam.
  3. If for some reason Mu Sigma terminates the candidate’s application, then the candidate is ineligible to apply.
