Infosys Off-Campus 2026: Apply Link, Syllabus and Prep Strategy

Infosys off-campus drives are open year-round to any engineering graduate who meets the eligibility criteria, not just students from Infosys partner colleges.

Eligibility: Who Can Apply

Infosys’s standard off-campus eligibility requirements for freshers:

• Degree: B.E., B.Tech, M.E., M.Tech, MCA, or M.Sc in any discipline. CSE, IT, ECE, and EEE branches see higher shortlist rates in most cohorts, but all branches are eligible.
• Aggregate marks: 65% (or 6.5 CGPA) across 10th, 12th, and the engineering degree. All three levels count, not just the degree.
• Active backlogs: Zero at time of application. Cleared backlogs are generally accepted.
• Academic gap: No overall academic gap exceeding one year.
• Pass-out year: Each drive specifies an eligible batch range. Read the drive notice before applying; a mismatched batch year leads to automatic rejection at the profile-screening stage.

The PP track is not accessible through standard off-campus drives. Competing in HackWithInfy is the primary route for PP offers.

How to Apply: The Portal and Process

All Infosys off-campus applications go through the Infosys careers portal. There is no separate off-campus registration form.

Application steps

• Step 1: Register at infosys.com/careers with your full academic details, CGPA, and graduation year.
• Step 2: Under the freshers section, find the active opening matching your graduation year. Drive notices list eligible batches, target tracks, and test dates.
• Step 3: Submit your application. Shortlist decisions arrive by email within one to two weeks. Check your spam folder if you hear nothing.
• Step 4: Shortlisted candidates receive a scheduled test link. The test runs in a proctored browser window with webcam monitoring.
• Step 5: Candidates who clear the aptitude test are invited for a technical interview, conducted online or at an Infosys office.
• Step 6: A final HR interview covers communication, situational questions, and relocation readiness.

What the Test Covers: Syllabus by Section

The Infosys aptitude test format is identical for on-campus and off-campus candidates. Only the SP track adds a Coding section.

Total test time for the SE track is 90 minutes. The SP track runs to 120 minutes with the coding section added.

Quantitative Ability topics

Number systems, percentages, profit and loss, time-work, time-speed-distance, permutation and combination, and probability. A basic calculator is provided and allowed throughout this section.

Logical Reasoning topics

Data interpretation, blood relations, syllogisms, seating arrangements, coding-decoding, and direction sense. Seating arrangement and data interpretation questions consume the most time; plan to spend longer on these.

Verbal Ability topics

Reading comprehension, sentence correction, fill in the blanks, and error identification. The section runs at one question per minute; RC passages take longer than sentence-level questions.

Pseudocode topics

Variable assignment, conditional logic, loops, and function calls written in pseudocode format. No real programming language syntax is tested; the section requires trace-execution logic, not code-writing skill.

Coding topics (SP track)

Two DSA-level problems in the language of your choice: C, C++, Java, or Python. Partial marks apply; code that passes most test cases earns credit even without passing all.

Preparation Strategy

Quantitative Ability

The Infosys quant section rewards accuracy over raw speed: 10 questions in 35 minutes with a calculator is a manageable pace. Coding (SP track)

Solve 25 to 30 medium-difficulty DSA problems covering arrays, strings, and hashmaps before the test. Time yourself: at 2 problems in 30 minutes, you need to identify the approach within the first 3 minutes or switch to a simpler variant.
